The Villas d'Ortoli are two beautiful, spacious villas built in a creole style,
which have been sympathetically landscaped into a sunny, south-facing hillside, overlooking the beautiful Gulf
of Valinco. Adorned with flowers and vines, the mature landscaping lends an air of peace and tranquility whilst
the busy little resort of Propriano is just a short drive away.
Designed by a local architect, the houses each comprise two apartments; a three bedroom upper apartment with large
terrace which has access to the shared pool at the residence next door, and a four bedroom ground floor apartment,
which has a private pool and spa. Stone steps to the side of the house link the two unobtrusively, making the houses
equally suited to larger parties or two families who want to holiday together, whilst retaining a degree of privacy.
The door opens onto a hallway leading to the bright, spacious living room with teak dining table and chairs, television
and CD player, and a comfortable sofabed to allow for flexible sleeping arrangements. A breakfast bar separates
the well equipped kitchen which has all the facilities one would expect of a house of this quality; full oven and
hob, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher as well as a kettle, cafetiere and toaster.
The hallway from the main room leads to a double bedroom with French windows with access to the terrace, and two
twin bedrooms. There are two shower rooms, one with a toilet, and a separate toilet. The four bedroom apartments
have an additional double bedroom and shower room with toilet. The bedrooms that have access directly on to the
terrace enjoy the same stunning views as the main living room.
Outside, each apartment has a large terrace which is perfect for outdoor living, and outstanding views over the
sea towards Propriano. The ground floor apartments also have a lovely little garden area, and the terrace is covered
with vines and flowers, providing dappled sunlight and shade through the heat of the day. The crowning glory of
these larger apartments is the inviting Jacuzzi and separate freeform infinity pool adorned with ornamental rocks,
which enjoy superb uninterrupted views. The three bedroom apartments on the first floor have shared use of the
pool next door.
The coastline here is interspersed with beautiful and sometimes secluded sandy coves. However, some of the most
picturesque beaches in Corsica are just a short distance away; golden sand, clear blue water and awe-inspiring
granite rocks jutting out of the sea. However, the beaches are only part of the story, and the Valinco has a lot
more to offer visitors from the intriguing pre-historic site at Filitosa, to Sartene, the most Corsican of Corsican
towns, and Propriano's bustling waterfront marina where you can sample some of the fresh fish caught that morning
whilst watching the sun set over the bay. In the area you can go walking, horse-riding, diving, climbing, or take
a train or boat trip, whilst the more adventurous can try canyoning, parachuting, climbing or jetskiing.

'Beautiful location with amazing views across the bay. Good value.
Spacious. Perfect for two families sharing but wanting their own space. We loved our villa - beautiful views across
the ocean. It was the perfect location. A short drive down the hill to the nearest, pretty beach and along the
coast for lots of other beaches and a bustling little town. The two villas worked perfectly as we were two families
holidaying together. Loved the patio and pools. It was great to have the bakery van delivering bread and croissants
in the morning. The small pools were perfect for our 2 and 4 year olds. We will definitely be coming back.'
