The villa offers an entrance hall leading to the first double bedroom,
then the kitchen which has been well equipped with dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, oven and electric cafetière.
The living room offers a balcony with views over the sea - perfect for a leisurely breakfast! This room has been
furnished with armchairs and television. Also located on this level is a shower room and separate toilet, and the
second double bedroom which also has access to the balcony and sea views. Especially suited to those families travelling
with teenagers or grandparents, the third bedroom is completely independent, lending a feeling of privacy whilst
still close to the rest of the family. Steps outside lead down to this bedroom which has its own shower room, separate
toilet and a shady terrace.
The heavy wooden shutters and tiled floor help to keep the villa cool even during the hot summer months, but if
you fancy a refreshing dip, the four pools within Les Hameaux are just a few metres from the house (staggered opening
between June to September). If you are feeling energetic, there is also a tennis court for the use of residents
and their guests, a running track on the hillside opposite and many marked walks and trails nearby. Scattered throughout
an area of more than 24 hectares, and surrounded with flowers and shrubs, the houses and apartments of Les Hameaux
de Propriano occupy a superb spot, where the hustle and bustle of summer life can feel a million miles away, when
in reality it's just a short stroll from the town and the port. If you simply want to relax and take it easy, why
not try the relaxing thermal baths at Baracci or Caldane, or take in some culture at the local theatre.
The main town of Propriano is just a short 15 minute walk away so there is no need to worry about taking the car
if you want to enjoy a glass or two of the excellent local wines with dinner. For those who prefer the beach, the
Gulf of Valinco is perhaps the most beautiful gulf on the west coast of the island. Around the bay to the south
is Campomoro, a charming unspoilt village with a recently restored Genoese tower and a lovely sandy beach. To the
north of the bay we find Cappiciolo - perhaps one of the best spots on the Gulf with it's picturesque coves of
golden sand fringed by rocks. Propriano, the principal town of the region, has an attractive, lively port with
many good restaurants which make it a popular choice for visitors.
