Situated in a quiet residential area of Calvi, Terre à Feu is a one bedroom apartment on the ground floor of a villa, with shared use of the owners pool and within walking distance of the town and the beach.

Completely self contained and with its own private entrance, Terre à Feu comprises a good sized main living/dining room with a double sofabed, easy chairs and a beautiful glass and forged iron dining table suitable for six people. The kitchen is fairly simple and has been separated from the main room by a breakfast bar. Equipped with a microwave, mini-oven, toaster, cafetiere and kettle, it is more than adequate to prepare simple meals that guests can enjoy al fresco on the pretty terrace where you can enjoy the views over the sea and the surrounding mountains. The location of the apartment means that you can also easily walk into the town in the evenings to sample some of the excellent local restaurants should you prefer.

There is a separate bedroom with double bed, making Terre à Feu ideal for couples, but also friends who want to holiday together or even a small family. It is hard to imagine that the peaceful Banasco area of Calvi is only one kilometre from the centre of Calvi, so should you ever tire of the hustle and bustle, you can relax on the pretty terrace surrounded by flowers, or take a refreshing dip in the owner's pool next door.

Not far away one can find several well know beauty spots such as Notre Dame de la Serra - a pretty little chapel sitting on the top of a hillside with 360° views of the bay of Calvi from the Citadel to the magnificent sandy beach that stretches for more than 5km, and the historic 15th Century Citadel which was subject to a brutal two-month attack on the town in 1794. This is where Nelson lost is eye and left saying he hoped never to see the place again!

Steeped in history and with a wealth of watersports, boat trips, boutiques, restaurants and cafes lining the colourful harbour front, Calvi is the ideal choice for those who like to explore and those who just want to relax and soak up the warm sunshine.
