Surrounded by aged dry stone walls, this group of stylish mini-villas enjoys an unrivalled position in a huge old olive grove perched on the hillside above Bonifacio. With just ten mini-villas in all, the residence is peaceful and quiet, with superb views over the port of Bonifacio, and across the straits towards Sardinia, just 12 kilometres away.

The mini-villas are arranged in a row stretching out from the reception and pool area. Each has its own entrance with outside shower which leads to the main living area. Here there are two single divan day beds and a well-equipped open plan kitchen with dishwasher, full oven and hob. There is a bath or shower room and separate toilet as well as the bedrooms which are detailed below

• One bedroom apartment - sleeps 4, one double bedroom and two single divan day beds in the living area
• Two bedroom apartment - sleeps 6, one double bedroom, one twin and two single divan day beds in the living area
• Three bedroom apartment - sleeps 8, two double bedrooms, one twin and two single divan day beds in the living area

Outside, each mini-villa has its own part-covered terrace and brick built barbeque.

Probably the jewel in Terra Marina's crown is the magnificent pool which seems to hang between the land and the sky, as though suspended in mid air. There is a shallow end for the children, and a pool bar that serves cold drinks and ice creams. The pool is heated making it possible to swim throughout the year. The olive trees and cork oaks provide shady parking spots

In addition to the normal facilities one would expect to find on a residence of this type, the charming owners have thoughtfully provided some added extras to help you get the most from your holiday. These include hairdryers, individual safes in all the properties, a token operated laundry, telephone at reception and an internet point where you can send e-mails.

For those who can bear to drag themselves away from the peace and tranquillity of the countryside setting, the local area has lots to offer. The beaches in the area are excellent for all kinds of water sports, take a boat trip to one of the many marine grottoes or the Lavezzi isles nature reserve, or simply explore the Citadel and old town of Bonifacio..

Linen is not included in the price of the rental. Sheets and pillowcases can be hired, but clients must bring their own towels.
