port of Calvi, Apartment Santore is a spacious air conditioned apartment, set within the prestigious Domaine Maria
Stella.
Located in a quiet yet central location, Apartment Santore offers a large shared pool with spa and poolside showers.
The main entrance is at the back of the apartment and opens onto a hallway. The large open plan living room offers
a dining area to one side and doors leading onto the main terrace with views over the newly planted grounds with
several mature pine trees and paths that wind their way through the domaine with several water features. This main
room has been furnished in a bright modern style and offers comfortable seating as well as extra touches such as
a television, DVD/CD player and MP3 player. The fully equipped kitchen offers all the conveniences one would expect
such as washing machine and dishwasher, and is partly separated from the main living area.
There are three bedrooms in all, making Apartment Santore equally suited to couples or families. To the left of
the living room is the master bedroom with double bed and ensuite bathroom with bath, shower and access to the
second terrace which catches the morning sun - the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely breakfast before heading
out for a day on the beach or sightseeing. The two further bedrooms are located to the other side of the living
room. Each comprises two twin beds and both have access to the shared shower room with toilet, and a separate guest
toilet. These two bedrooms both have access to the main terrace. There is also a cot & highchair. All the bedrooms
have built in wardrobes and plenty of storage space, and the apartment is air conditioned throughout.
Outside the large main terrace runs the full width of the apartment and enjoys the afternoon sun, so it is ideal
for sun bathing or eating al fresco if you fancy a change from the good selections of restaurants lining the port
and ancient cobbled streets of Calvi. There is a bakers and a range of places to eat and enjoy an ice cream or
coffee just 200m away, and Apartment Santore is just a short 10 minute stroll from all the local amenities of Calvi
as well as the train station serving a number of beaches and villages along the coast. For guests who prefer to
hire a car, an underground lock-up garage is also at your disposal. The shared swimming pool is located within
the gardens and are available for the use of guests.
The shallow sandy bay stretches for more than 5km and during the summer life guards are on duty, making Calvi a
popular choice for families with children of all ages. There is plenty of room for everyone, whether you want to
relax and soak up the sun, or indulge in the range of sports and activities on offer such as windsurfing, sailing,
kite surfing and diving. The beach is backed by shady pines and sand dunes, concealing an adventure playground,
tennis courts and picnic tables. For the more adventurous, the mountains are never far where you can hike, ride
horses or maybe take a refreshing dip in one of the rock pools. The Citadel which stands above the town is remarkable
and well worth a visit, but there is nothing better that enjoying an ice cream at one of the harbourfront cafés
and simply watching the world go by!
One of the many delights of Corsica is sampling the true flavours of the Mediterranean; roasted sardines, gigot
d'agneau à la ficelle flambé au capuchin (lamb), moules persillées (mussels), terrine de sanglier
(wild boar terrine), gratin d'aubergine (aubergine gratin) as well as homemade aperitifs and desserts. You will
find all these and more on offer in the wide selections of restaurants within easy reach of the Apartment Santore.
Particularly suited to families looking for pleasant, affordable accommodation close to the beach, and all the
facilities Calvi has to offer.

'Hello, We got back from our week in Corsica on Sunday and I
thought you might like some feedback regarding the apartment. The arrangements with meeting the agents were simple
and worked well. The apartment was a pleasure to stay in - spotlessly clean on arrival, very well equipped and
very comfortably furnished. It probably seems like a strange thing to mention but the shutters on all doors and
lack of handles on the outside meant it was one of the most secure places we have ever stayed in. With young children
it was lovely to sleep so well at night knowing it was so intruder and child-escape proof! The grounds and pool
were lovely, very secure, clean and well maintained and a really lovely mixture of residents and holiday makers
who respected all facilities and the peace and quiet. We had a fabulous week, the beach and sea at Calvi are unbeatable
for children - with 100 or so Foreign Legion parachuting near the beach providing free daily entertainment! We
had one of our easiest most relaxing holidays and really hope that we can return. Many thanks, Julianne.'

holiday in Corsica - Calvi was lovely as always and the weather was kind to us -temperatures of 26/28 degrees centigrade
