Taking their names from the Corsican words for the trees and shrubs within
the grounds, A Nepita, l'Alivu, L'Abitru and A Leccia encourage a calm and relaxed ambiance, perfect for those
who want to get away from it all and unwind undisturbed. Designed for comfortable living, the single storey villas
have each been tastefully furnished in an elegant contemporary style, each slightly different in terms of décor
and furnishings. Spacious and well equipped, the houses can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests and the attention
to detail is superb. The owners have thoughtfully provided a television with international satellite channels and
a DVD player should you ever tire of living al fresco.
The main living area is open plan with French doors leading to the garden
and pool. The modern kitchens have been fitted to a very high standard, and are well equipped with all the facilities
one would expect of a property of this quality, including built in oven and ceramic hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher
and microwave as well as a washing machine and tumble dryer. There are four bedrooms; two doubles and two twins,
and three bathrooms with shower, bath and toilet. Each villa also benefits from air conditioning, a safe, barbecue
and parking for two cars.
There is an English speaking guide on hand to ensure your comfort, who
can advise you on a wide range of leisure activities in the area and generally help you get the most from your
holiday. However, if you prefer to be left in peace, they won't disturb you! For those guests who prefer not to
hire a car, the owners can also arrange for you to be transported to and from the airport.
Calvi is a fantastic place to holiday, particularly if you've never been
to Corsica before. The picture-postcard pretty harbour is lined with vibrant cafes and restaurants, and the Citadel
is steeped in history. The beautiful sandy beach which stretches for nearly 6km, is closeby and there are plenty
of intimate coves heading out towards the peninsular if you want somewhere quieter. For those who like to explore,
there is a little train which runs along the coast stopping at all the villages en-route, or you can connect for
the service that runs through the mountains - breath-taking.
If you want to all the advantages of a good quality private villa, and
don't want to have to drive for miles to find restaurants in the evening or a good beach for the kids, Villas Ronduli
are for you.

Comments from previous guests...
'We had a fabulous stay at Villas Ronduli in June. The location
is very private and peaceful yet near enough to the beach and town. We loved being able to get everywhere on foot,
even if the walk back to the villa was a little tiring in the heat! We would have been just as happy to spend all
our days at the villa - it's spacious, well designed, very comfortable and immaculate. The pool was kept spotlessly
clean and there was plenty of space for lazing about in the sun or shade. Calvi had all we wanted - the beach is
perfect for children - with clear, shallow water and soft sand. There are plenty of cafes along the beach where
you can get a drink and a snack. The town feels authentically French - there wasn't much English spoken, and there
weren't many tourists in June. The views across the bay from the harbour are beautiful, especially in the evenings.
Towards the end of our stay we discovered the restaurants up in the higher part of the town, which provided a welcome
change from the pizzas and steak we found down by the harbour! Our only complaint was that we couldn't find a decent
coffee! If you prefer to self cater, the supermarket has absolutely everything you need. There's also a lovely
bakery nearby where we got our croissants each morning. All in all, the holiday provided everything we wanted and
it was all so easy and relaxing. We didn't hire a car, although I'm sure there's lots more to see if you do. We
can't wait to go back to Calvi - especially as the journey was so easy - door to door took barely 5 hours, and
we soon put the early start of our outbound flight well behind us!'
'Great location, Spaciousness and layout of rooms, High quality
fixtures and fittings, Well-equipped (crockery, cutlery and pans) Very clean on arrival and generally well-maintained,
lovely pool, useful info. and guides about the area. Juliette popped in several times to see if we were ok. Didn't
pre-book a car and by the time we decided to there was no availability ( would have liked to see the interior of
the island). Used the little train 3 times that goes between Calvi and Ile Rousse. Liked Ile Rousse (Shaded square, good
beach and clear water). Favourite restaurant in Calvi U Minellu.'
