Set amongst fragrant pine trees, eucalyptus and mimosa, and just 100
metres from a beautiful sandy beach, O'sa Torra di Vignale is a collection of just five well equipped bungalows
occupying two hectares of forested land.
The bungalows are all air conditioned for the greater comfort of guests. The main living room has been furnished
with banquette seating which can also convert to a single sofabed to allow for more flexible sleeping arrangements,
and a large table which can be folded away when not in use. The kitchen is open plan with the main room and has
a gas hob with four burners, microwave oven and fridge/freezer. There are three separate bedrooms; two with twin
beds and the third with a double bed which also has direct access to the shower room. There is a separate toilet
and shower room with access from the main part of the bungalow as well as a separate access from the double bedroom.

a large, part covered terrace which has been furnished with a garden table, eight chairs and a parasol. There is
a communal barbeque and a boules pitch available for the use of guests, and a parking area next to each bungalow.
Ideal for nature lovers and those who will enjoy the countryside location, O'sa Torra di Vignale is also well suited
for those looking for a more lively holiday. Within easy walking distance are a good selection of bars and restaurants,
a swimming pool and a nautical club. Just a little further (approximately 800m) is a supermarket, tobaconnists,
newsagent and a disco, so everything is close at hand!
The main town of Ghisonnaccia and the village of Prunelli are just a few minutes drive away. Situated at the heart
of the Costa Serena, Ghisonaccia offers visitors many attractions such as beautiful sandy beaches, stunning mountain
backdrops, lakes and rivers as well as a whole range of sports and activities such as forest walks, cycling trails,
mountain biking and activities and water sports. Here one can go fishing in the numerous rivers, swim in the rock
pools or discover some of the many historical sites. The villages of the interior are also worth a visit as they
offer a particularly rich heritage. Prunelli is superbly situated on a rocky promontory which dominates the whole
of the Eastern Plain. Visit the Lac de Palu, the thermal baths of Petrapola (warm sulfure springs) or the breathtaking
virtiginous Buja waterfall at San Gavinu. Aleria, the Roman Capital of Corsica, is closeby, and here one can visit
the museum in the medieval fort of Matra as well as the excavations of the ancient city. Renowned throughout the
island, it is well worth a visit.
Organic farming is very popular in the Costa Serena, and the pomelos (a type of grapefruit), kiwis, tangerines,
clementines and lemons are particularly tasty. The cheeses produced here from goats, ewes and cows milk are perhaps
some of the best on the island and offer a variety of different flavours which should be savoured with the excellent
local wines to bring out the full flavour. Figatellu, prisuttu, lonzu and coppa are still made and cured by traditional
methods and the fish and seafood is excellent - don't forget to try the oysters in the restaurants lining the Lac
d'Urbinu!
Sheets and bed linen are not included in the price of the rental, but can
be provided for a small charge. Please note that TOWELS ARE NOT PROVIDED.
