Ideally placed in the heart of the Balagne between Ile Rousse and Calvi, the Villa Les Oliviers is a superb villa with private pool and within walking distance (just 500m) from the fine sand and warm waters of the Mediterranean. Built in 2002 of traditional construction, the Villa les Oliviers offers comfortable and stylish accommodation, with lovely views overlooking the San Damiano Marina and small fishing port of Algajola. Nestled amongst olive trees, from which it takes its name, Villa Les Oliviers sleeps up to 10 people. A few steps lead down from the spacious entrance hall to the living room (55m2), which opens out onto a terraced area with a barbeque and lovely sea views, ideal for enjoying an aperitif. Also at ground floor level is the modern fitted kitchen, fully equipped as one would expect, including washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. There is also a large dining area, again with beautiful sea views. On this floor are 2 double bedrooms, one with standard double bed, one with a kingsize bed, and a third bedroom with 3 single beds. There are also 2 shower rooms and 3 toilets. The master bedroom with en-suite bathroom occupies the first floor, and covers a large area of approximately 36m2 and offers a kingsize bed, television and an office area equipped with desk and two computers (WIFI connection). French windows lead onto a vast sun terrace, again with magnificent sea views. The living room also offers a sofabed should you need more flexible sleeping arrangements, or for a tenth occupant. The villa is fully air conditioned. Outside, stone flagged paths meander through the pretty, landscaped garden, planted with mature palm and olive trees, as well as native shrubs and roses. The garden has been designed to provide several areas for relaxation, with attractive palm-shaded seating areas dotted about on the lawn, and even a hammock for an afternoon siesta, slung between two olive trees! The infinity pool has idyllic views of the mountains to one side and over the sea (as the owner describes it, the Mediterranean is at your feet!) and is equipped with sunbeds and loungers - there is also an outside seating area and an exterior shower. Ideal for a family holiday, there is plenty to keep everyone amused - apart from TV with UK satellite channels and WIFI, there is also a professional billiard table for the adults and for the kids a ping-pong table, "baby football" and a number of other games such as backgammon. Three mountain bikes are also put at the disposal of guests. There are also plenty of activities at the beach, such as Windsurfing (the Bay of Algajola has hosted the Funboard French Championships for 4 consecutive years, and is suitable for all levels), surf bodyboard, sea kayaking, waterskiing and scuba diving.
