On a sunny hillside, just a short walk from the bustling port and lively
little town of Propriano, Casa Oleandro is a two storey town house with views over the town to the sea beyond.
Situated in the new part of the development, steps lead up to the main
terrace area where there is room for a table and chairs - perfect for eating al fresco. French doors open onto
the large open plan living/dining room which has been tastefully decorated in warm yellows and blues with a sofabed
for additional or more flexible sleeping. This room has plenty of space for a dining table and chairs, dresser
and a comfortable seating area, and the thoughtful owners have also provided a dvd player for your added enjoyment.
The fireplace is in working order, and is ideal if you intend to visit out of season.
The kitchen is at the rear of this main room, and is well equipped with
fridge-freezer, top loading washing machine, dishwasher and full cooker. Stairs lead up to the first floor where
there is a good sized master bedroom with balcony, and lovely views over the bay of Propriano. The bathroom has
a bath with shower attachment over, and a toilet. The second bedroom (currently furnished with two sofabeds) has
access to a small independent terrace at the back of the property. Both bedrooms have built in wardrobes.
The house has been furnished throughout with style and taste, and decorated
in subtle Mediterranean colours. The heavy wooden shutters help to keep the apartment cool during the summer, and
double as an added security measure.
Within Les Hameaux are four swimming pools - two of which are just a
few metres from the house - and a tennis court for the use of residents and their guests. The main town of Propriano
is just a short walk away, and there you will find many good restaurants and lots of interesting boutiques. You
can walk to two good beaches from the apartment, and there are so many interesting villages to explore as well
as all the sports and activities on offer, you'll be spoilt for choice!
Linen and a complimentary bottle of local wine is included in the price
of the rental.
