Superbly situated in large mature gardens in a quiet residential area comprising just four houses, Villa Nicole sits between the warm turquoise blue waters and golden yellow sand of Calvi bay, and the cool fresh greens of the forêt de Bonifato - perfect for exploring the intriguing Balagne region, or simply relaxing by the pool.

Designed for comfortable living, the rooms have been tastefully decorated in a mix of warm Mediterranean colours and cool fresh pastels to make the most of the summery feel of the house. The owners live here themselves outside of the summer months, so Villa Nicole is well equipped with all the comforts of home.

This comfortable family villa comprises a large living room of 70m2 with comfortable seating, fireplace feature, television and air conditioning. The American style kitchen has been fully fitted and is well equipped with all the modern conveniences one would expect such as dishwasher, full cooker and fridge-freezer where you can keep your ice cream! There is also a table and chairs should you wish to eat indoors, but most clients prefer to eat outside on the terrace, or by the pool where there is a summer kitchen for your convenience. At the back of the house is a conservatory/covered terrace area which is currently used as a utility room where the washing machine and laundry appliances are kept. The three bedrooms are all situated on the ground floor, and each boasts a king size bed. Above the living room is a light and airy mezzanine where there is a further double bed, so the villa can comfortably sleep up to 8 people. There is a bathroom with bath and shower, and two separate toilets.

The large mature garden covers an area of 1800m2 so there is plenty of room for children to run and play, whilst the adults find themselves a quiet corner or relax by the pool. The property has been completely enclosed for the safety of children and access is via electric gates. There is a large pool with roman steps at one end so children can sit and play without getting out of their depth, and a pool house with further shower and toilet and a simple summer kitchen corner. In summer the terraces are surrounded by colourful roses and fragrant oleander bushes and although the property is by no means remote, the garden and terraces are completely private and not overlooked at all.

Of course one of the main attractions of this area is the glorious sandy beach at Calvi which are very shallow and ideal for children. Just a short drive away, you can enjoy all the benefits of a lively seaside town; colourful bars and restaurants lining the port and tucked away amongst the narrow cobbled streets, a vast shallow sandy beach with a whole rage of watersports, the dramatic 15th century Genoese Citadel, and even a little train that runs along the coast. Just 10km in the other direction, the forêt de Bonifato is the perfect place to escape the hubbub if you fancy a change of scene, and in the heat of the summer, a picnic on the rocks followed by a refreshing dip in the river can be just the thing!
