The ground floor comprises an entrance hall, leading onto a large living/dining
room with lovely views over the gulf and sliding doors to the large main terrace. Off the main room is the well
equipped kitchen with full oven and dishwasher, and a breakfast area which also has access to the terrace. On this
floor are four bedrooms arranged in two wings, each comprising a double room and a twin room, shower room and toilet.
One bedroom also has French doors giving access to the main terrace.
The lower rooms are reached via steps from the terrace adding an air of privacy for grandparents or older children.
Here there are two further bedrooms; both with sea views and one with sliding doors giving access onto the lower
terrace. There is plenty of cupboard space on this level, a separate toilet and a large bathroom with corner bath.
These two extra bedrooms are only available if arranged in advance so please make sure you ask at the time of booking.
One room has a double bed and the other has been arranged as an extra living area with sofabed so that it can be
used either as a small apartment (no kitchen) or as two bedrooms. There is also a washing machine for the use of
guests.
The main terrace itself is a good size and has a dining table and a comfortable seating area making it the perfect
for eating out and watching the sunset over the sea. There is a built-in barbecue for those balmy summer evenings
and steps up to a further area of terrace where there is a private pool (approx. 8m x 4m) - ideal for relaxing
and soaking up the sun.
There are some stunning beaches in the area; Campomoro with its ancient watchtower and fine golden sand, the little
fishing port of Porto Pollo and of course Cappiciolo itself where the golden sand and red granite rocks form a
stark contrast to the turquoise blue of the sea.
A bread van calls daily bringing fresh bread and croissants, and the main town of Propriano where there is a good
selection or restaurants and little boutiques, is just a short drive away.
We are pleased to be able to offer SHORT STAYS at this property
for selected dates so you can take advantage of cheap mid-week flights with Ryanair if you fancy just a quick break
in the sun! Short stay prices start at 200e per night (3 nights minimum) and are only valid at certain timses of
the year - see details in the price panel.
Linen is included in the price of the rental.

'A big thank you to the directCorsica team who were so informative
and helpful in making our stay possible at February half-term. We have visited the Gulf of Valinco several times
before but we were bowled over by Villa Monti's commanding position and stunning views. It is a really comfortable
winter hideaway and those views are appreciated both from sofas inside (through those panoramic sliding doors),
and from the spectacular terrace which captures the winter sun. We had been a little wary of what the weather would
be like in February but were pleasantly surprised by warm sun and clear skies for most of the week. When the afternoon
breeze started up we retreated to the sun deck and lounged by the pool while the kids played hide and seek. Sadly
the pool was too cold to try out - maybe next time! We had really super family days walking down to the beaches
at Cala Piscona and along the rocks to Cappiciolo. Although we were outside the main charter season we followed
advice and had a surprising number of flights to choose from. We found that Heathrow to Nice (British Airways)
and then on to Figari (CCM/Air Corsica) suited us best for both price and timing. The departures were at a civilised
time, both ways, and we made a feature of a proper lunch during our Nice stopover. All in all an unforgettable
seven days, and we will certainly plan to visit again.'
