Clustered above the village of La Trinite in an area known as 'Les Hauteurs
de Porto Vecchio', the Residence La Lézardière is a collection of 18 mini-villas with large pool
and paddling pool, scattered through 4 hectares of flowered gardens, with superb views.
The excellent facilities here make La Lézardière popular with families, but each of the mini-villas
is completely independent and is not overlooked, so they are equally suited to couples. Adults will enjoy the feeling
of a private villa where they can sit on the terrace in the evenings and listen to the rhythmic chants of the cigales,
or birdsong in the morning, whilst children will love the range of facilities and welcome the opportunity to make
friends.
The large pool measures 15m x 7m and there is a separate childrens play pool (5m x 4m) surrounded by sunbeds, loungers,
parasols and colourful oleander bushes. There is also a library and games for all so there is sure to be something
to tempt everyone!
The mini-villas are modern in style and each has their own individual style, but they all offer a large shady terrace
with views over the Gulf and the town of Porto Vecchio, a living room with kitchenette where guests will find a
dishwasher, microwave, cafetière, toaster and iron. There is the possibility of a direct telephone line
and also internet access if required as well as a safe. They vary in size and offer 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms, with television,
bath or shower room with hairdryer, toilet.

Palombaggia, Santa Guilia, St. Cyprien, Cala Rossa, Benedettu and Pinarellu are some of the better known in this
beautiful south east corner, and offer fine golden sand and shallow waters, whilst the port of Porto Vecchio offers
a range of sea excursions such as the intriguing uninhabited Lavezzi islands. Not surprisingly, within easy reach
of the residence are all the sports and activities imaginable such as golf, diving, canyoning, boat trips, tennis,
horesriding, fishing, and even skiing in winter. The mountains of the Alta Rocca offer the chance to escape to
another world; the striking Bavella mountains, the Forest of l'Ospedale and the Plateau de Cocchione are wonderful
for walking, picnic or river bathing and you'll come across numerous archeological sites as well as natural rock
pools and waterfalls.
Porto Vecchio - a short drive away - is a town that is appreciated equally for its cosmopolitan nightlife, and
its wealth of daytime distractions from the stunning beaches and ancient walled town, to the sophisticated boutiques
and water front restaurants. The Residence La Lézardière is ideally situated so that guests can take
full advantage of the hustle and bustle if they wish, but escape to a haven of peace and tranquility for a quiet
evening on the terrace or a day relaxing by the pool. The beautiful ancient cliff-top city of Bonifacio is also
worth a visit, and is less than an hours drive away.
