Taking its name from the beautiful natural pine grove in which it stands, Residence Les Pins is a collection of attractive wooden chalet style apartments, close to the pretty waterfront town of Calvi, and the superb shallow sandy beach.

There are 4 wooden chalets in all, comprising 32 apartments. The apartments on the ground floor each have their own terrace whilst those on the first floor have a little balcony, each with a table and chairs where you can eat al fresco. French doors lead to the main living room where there is a simple kitchen corner (two hob rings and a small refrigerator). There are two day beds that convert to single divans in the open plan living/dining room, and a separate bedroom with double or twin beds. There is a small shower room with toilet. On site there is a communal washing machine.

If you just want to relax and enjoy the friendly, relaxed atmosphere, the residence also boasts a swimming pool with loungers and parasols, a children's play area, and boules and a bar with television. For a small extra charge there is also ping-pong and billiards.

Calvi and the surrounding area have a lot to offer, making it idea for a first time visit to the island. The main town and beach is just a 20 minute walk away, and there you will find a many good restaurants and lots of interesting boutiques. The huge sweep of fine sand stretches for over 5km, and there are plenty of intimate coves heading out towards the peninsular if you want somewhere quieter. The beach is home to a number of water sports such as sailing, windsurfing and diving, and the kids will love the Via Ferrata (tree walking) in the pinede backing the beach.

The Residence les Pins is particularly suited to families looking for simple, affordable accommodation within walking distance of the town and the beach.
