On a sunny hillside just a few minutes from the little town of Propriano,
Villa Legge is a well proportioned villa that occupies a quiet position at the edge of this well maintained residential
development.
Surrounded by garden and terraces, the main door is at the side of the house and opens on to the hallway decorated
in white stucco. To the right is the separate kitchen where there is a full cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge
freezer, and french doors over looking the garden area at the front of the house. The main living is a large room
comprising a dining area with a wooden dining table and chairs and a seating area with comfortable sofa, television
and CD player. French windows lead to the main terrace where there are lovely views over the surrounding gardens
to the bay of Propriano and the mountains beyond.
A few internal stairs lead up to the three bedrooms and family bathroom. The first bedroom has a double bed and
french windows leading onto the upper part of the terrace and views over the town to the sea. The second bedroom
is a large room ideal for children. There are two sets of pine bunk beds and lovely sea views. The third bedroom
cold be considered as the master bedroom as it is a large double room with a large en-suite shower and washbasin,
but the owners tell us that they prefer the smaller double room as what could be better that waking up to a view
of the sea and stepping out directly onto the terrace in the mornings. There is a family bathroom with bath and
shower attachment over and toilet.
The main terrace is at the back of the house and enjoys lovely views over the communal gardens to the town and
the sea beyond. There is a large table and chairs where you you can eat alfresco at any time of the day. The Terrace
enjoys full sun in the afternoons, so there is also an electric awning off the dining/living room which offers
shade. A few steps lead to the upper terrace with French doors to the smaller bedroom, and then round to the side
of the house where there another large terrace where you can relax in the dappled shade offered by the surrounding
trees. One of the four pools of the development is just opposite, so you won't have far to go for a refreshing
dip!
Les Hameaux de Propriano is an attractive development, landscaped into the hillside above the town. The collection
of houses and apartments are scattered throughout the grounds, and surrounded with flowers and shrubs. There are
four swimming pools - one just opposite (staggered opening between June to September), and a tennis court for the
use of residents and their guests.
The main town of Propriano is just a short 15 minute walk away so there is no need to worry about taking the car
if you want to enjoy a glass or two of the excellent local wines with dinner, and one of the superb sandy beaches
is just a little further, but there are lots of secluded coves and picturesque beaches stretching north of the
bay towards Cappiciolo, and south towards Campomoro.

the pool is only guaranteed to be clean and open from 1 June until 30 September.
