On a sunny hillside at the heart of Les Hameaux de Propriano is A Terrazza,
an attractive studio apartment, ideal for a couple looking for a peaceful location within walking distance of the
lively town and one of the many superb sandy beaches in the area.
There is a little terrace at the front of the apartment where you can sit and watch the world go by, but the crowning
glory of this delightful little apartment is the superb roof terrace from which it takes its name. Exterior steps
lead up to the sunny, south-facing terrace, with lovely views over the town and the bay of Propriano - ideal for
enjoying an aperitif before venturing out for the evening, coffee and croissants in the morning or simply relaxing
and soaking up the sun!
The apartment itself comprises a studio room where there is a comfortable double sofabed, dining table and chairs
and a simple kitchen corner with fridge, electric hob and mini-oven. The white-washed walls and tile floor help
to keep the apartment feeling fresh and cool during the hot summer months, and there is even a television should
you tire of living al fresco. There is a separate shower room with toilet and other benefits include fireplace
feature with working cheminée, making it an ideal base for those who like to visit outside the main season.
Within the development are four swimming pools (one just a few metres from the apartment - open June to September),
and a tennis court for the use of residents and their guests. The main town of Propriano is just a short 15 minute
walk away and there you will find a many good restaurants and lots of interesting boutiques.
You can walk to one of the sandy beaches from the apartment, and there are lots of secluded coves and picturesque
beaches stretching north of the bay towards Cappiciolo, and south towards Campomoro. In the area you can also enjoy
all the usual water sports, bathe in river rock pools or relax in the hot springs of Baracci, play tennis, go walking,
horse-riding, diving, climbing, or take a train or boat trip. The more adventurous can try a tandem u.l.m., canyoning,
parachuting, climbing or jetskiing. There really is something for everyone!

the pool is only guaranteed to be clean and open from 1 June until 30 September.

Corsica is totally heaven on Earth! This property is quite tiny
(and very dark) but the lack of space is compensated by the roof terrace- wonderful! It is a bit run down on this
complex but it's a bit 'shabby-chic' really. There are nice pools and tennis courts. This is a a complex for French
owners I think and it is very genteel. Corsica is quite quaint and so so charming - I was utterly seduced! And
there are wild tortoises! In charge of the complex is Florence - she is lovely
GO TO CORSICA!!!!!!!!!!! If I could afford it I would go again at the drop of a hat!
