On the 5th floor (with a lift) of one of the buildings lining Boulevard
Wilson, Elisycath is a comfortable apartment with superb views over the port and the beach, the like of which are
normally only possible in the Citadel.
One of the original 'transversant' apartments, Elisycath is spacious and fresh, and has balconies on both sides;
one overlooking the port and the other overlooking Boulevard Wilson. The main door opens onto the central hallway.
Glass doors lead into the living room where there is a sofa and two armchairs, a table and chairs and a beatiful
armoire. The owners have provided a television and DVD player if you don't want to venture out in the evenings,
and a reversible airconditioning/heating system is available should you need it. Two sets of French doors lead
onto the balconies at the front and side of the apartment. From the front, the apartment looks over Boulevard Wilson
and at the side you can catch glimpses of the citadel dominating the town.
The master bedroom is off of the living room (separated by a curtain), but the doors to the living room can be
closed for more privacy. The bedroom has a further set of french windows giving onto to the balcony. There is a
family bathroom with bath and shower attachment over, and a separate toilet. The second bedroom has twin beds,
a large window and plenty of cupboard space.
The kitchen has superb views over the port and access to another small balcony. There is further table and chairs
if you don't fancy taking advantage of the many bars and restaurants lining the port and the kitchen itself has
been well equipped with a full oven, 4 hob rings, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer and a
cafetiere.
Calvi is one of the most popular resorts on the island and Elisycath is perfectly placed to enjoy the very best
is has to offer. Kid will love the shallow sandy beach just a short walk away, whilst the adults will appreciate
the proxity of shops and restaurants coupled with an elevated position and lovely views. Calvi is a fabulous base
for a family holiday as well as for couples - there is so much to see and do you might be spoilt for choice! A
car is not essential unless you want to explore further afield as the little train runs along the coast stopping
at towns and beaches along the way.

'This is a beautiful apartment and described perfectly on the
website. In addition to the facilities described, there is also an iron, ironing board and a travel hairdrier.
The views from the kitchen are wonderful and is the perfect place to sit and have breakfast on a beautiful sunny
morning. It is close to all shops/restaurants/bars/beaches and ideal for a very relaxing holiday. I would definitely
recommend this apartment for anyone visiting Calvi, but Corsica is an expensive place to holiday. The owners of
the apartment are lovely people and on the last night we had a problem with the hot water. We phoned the number
provided and within 10 minutes, the owner's daughter was at the apartment to sort out the problem. Our thanks to
the owners for a lovely base for our holiday and thanks too to Claire and Sue at directCorsica for all their advice
and help when it came to choosing and booking our holiday. We had a lovely time.'
