Within easy walking distance of the fabulous sandy beach and charming waterside town of Calvi, Casa Corsa is a lovely, traditional style house with 3 bedrooms, a garden and viewsof the mountains beyond.

Within the large Mediterrean gardens of a small family run hotel, this house offers the best of both worlds. Adults will love the feel of a private house and the freedom to wander into the town in the evenings without having to worry about the car, whilst smaller children kids will welcome the chance to make friends, and teenagers will appreciate the range of waters sports and activities on offer.

The house has been simply but tastefully furnished throughout in fresh whites with hints of warm Mediterranean colours here and there. There is a sitting room with comfortable seating and home entertainments such as a television and dvd player and CD radio if you don't want to venture out in the evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped kitchen with fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, cafetiere and kettle. The house has three bedrooms in all; one with double bed and two that can sleep 2/3 people in each offering flexible sleeping arrangements for smaller parties and plenty of room for larger families. There is a shower room with wc.

Outside there is a large terrace and garden area - perfect for coffee and croissants in the morning or even an evening meal if you want to eat at home. Why not try the local traiteur where you can buy pre-made local dishes that you can simply heat up at home. You can often find these in larger supermarkets and there is also a good one in the town. The terrace has been decked in teak and you will find a table and chairs for up to 8 people as well as loungers and a large parasol should you prefer a little shade.

Calvi is ideally suited to couples and families with its huge crescent of golden sand that stretched for over 5km, the range of watersports and mountain activities on offer, and the charm and character of the town itself. There is a good selection of bars and restaurants hidden among the narrow cobbled streets, and lining the port where you can sample the local specialities, and the location of the Casa-Vecchia makes it easy to wander into the town in the evening, whilst you can still be sure of a good nights sleep when you return at night.
