Set in a large garden filled with flowers and trees, Arripodju is a high

marina at Sant'Ambroggio.

in all the bathrooms, which all help to make your stay more comfortable.
The main living room is open plan has been furnished with two comfortable sofas, armchairs and a teak coffee table
and french doors leading to the terrace. The dining area is equipped with a large teak table which is able to comfortably
seat 8 people, and also has access to the terrace. The kitchen has been well equipped with all the facilities one
would expect of a high quality villa including fridge-freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, full cooker and hob
together with various other household appliances. Just off the main room is a hallway giving access to the bedrooms
and a guest toilet.
There are three bedrooms in total, all of which are en-suite. The master bedroom has a double bed and private bathroom

and chairs as well as an exterior light so that you can swim in the evenings after the sun has set, or simply admire
the stunning location. The pool has been fitted with contre-courant jets so that you can swim against them if you
fancy an aerobic workout!
Sant'Ambroggio is a relatively new community on the coast about mid-way
between the bustling resorts of Calvi and Ile Rousse. A great deal of thought has gone into the development of
this area to ensure that it retains its peaceful ambience. Sant'Ambroggio's facilities include an open air, salt-water
swimming pool, public tennis courts, and a cluster of shops and restaurants including a mini-market, butcher, baker,
newsagent, post office, laundrette and even a hairdresser, but it still remains relatively quiet when neighbouring
resorts become busy with tourists in the height of summer. The house also borders a protected area where you can
walk the ancient coastal paths through the maquis.
Should you fancy a change of pace, the trinicellu (little train) runs along the coast linking all the towns and
beaches along the way. Just a short train or car journey will bring you to Ile Rousse. With its white sandy beaches
and bustling market place, Ile Rousse has become the third busiest resort of the island, although it still manages
to retain its appeal. Cafes and restaurants line Place Paoli, the large village square, where there always seems
to be a game of boules underway. Wander the narrow streets and discover a whole host of interesting boutiques and
souvenir shops, many showcasing the talents of local artisans. The pace is slow and relaxing, but when the restaurants
and cafes fill up in the evening, the streets of the old port come alive and exude a truly Corsican charm..
Linen is included in the price of the rental, but guests must bring
their own towels.

Comments from previous guests...
'We loved the common space both inside and outside. We were 3
couples looking to relax and spend time together and this villa was absolutely perfect. For us, the pool, the terrace,
the poolside bar and the patio furniture really made us feel like we were being spoiled. The kitchen as well was
a real pleasure for us. The appliances were all new and clean and we were able to prepare every meal with great
ease and enjoyment. And location wise, the beach access was close, and access to Calvi was excellent. The only
thing I can see being a problem for some people is the 3rd bedroom. It is only accessible by going outside. There
is no access from inside the house to this bedroom. It didn't bother us, except that the couple that stayed in
that room got locked out of the main house the first morning by accident until everyone else woke up and realized
what had happened. It's not something that could be improved on per se, but I can see some folks not being happy
about that part. Overall, we LOVED LOVED LOVED our holiday at this property. Most of our best memories from the
holiday are from our time shared at the actual villa, and although we certainly paid for the little extras, it
was 100% worth every penny. Corsica is just beautiful, and this property exceeded our expectations!'
